DLL hosted the 2nd Annual DLL Memorial Day Tournament the weekend. DLL entered four teams and three placed in the top four. Lower Loudoun won the tournament for the second year in a row with a 4-0 record.
Dulles Nationals took 2nd place with their powerful offense and 4 home runs. Kyle Gouveia (.400 BA) hit 3 home runs with 9 RBI to lead the Nationals to the 2nd place finish. DLL 4 coached by Curtis Fockler placed 3rd. Sid Harvey lead DLL 4 to a 3rd place finish with his outstanding pitching and a home run to put his team into the championship round.
The DLL Yankees coached by Rick Anderson finished 4th. Yankees Defense was lead by Patrick Dawson, Zack Rawson and Daniel Anderson.
DLL Giants coached by Scott Logan had a Strong showing and went 2-1 and out scored their opponents 22-9. Dylan Stoskus pitched both wins for the Giants with support from Charlie Schlosser and Mike Tompkins.
