DSLL Registration Information

Registration Information for the 2006 Spring DSLL Season

  • Important Note: To facilitate the timely establishment of DSLL, DSLL will be using DLL's online registration system for the 2006 Spring season.
  • The link to the online registration system for the 2006 Spring DSLL season appears at the bottom of this web page. Please read or skim the below information before proceeding to the online registration system. (Click here to skip ahead to the link to the online registration system.)
  • Once arriving at the online registration website, DSLL registrants should select on of the following Baseball Programs:
    • 2006 Spring DSLL Baseball OR
    • 2006 Spring DSLL Baseball (ONLY for players born between May 1 and July 31, 2001)
    • Once you make one of these selections, you will be registering to play in DSLL (ignore all the references to DLL).

  • There MAY be a walk-in registration date (TBD) for the 2006 Spring DSLL season. Participants are encouraged to use the online registration system.

  • There will be NO mail-in registration for the 2006 Spring DSLL season.

2006 Spring DSLL Registration Timeline and Fees

Regular Registration

  • November 1 - December 15, 2005
  • Regular Registration Fees: $85 for first player, $75 for each additional player

Late Registration

  • December 16, 2005 - January 15, 2006
  • Late Registration Fees: $85 for first player, $75 for each additional player (additional $25 late registration fee for each player will be WAIVED if you register and pay on or before January 15, 2006
  • ALL players who register AND pay on or before January 15, 2006 will be placed on a team

Waitlist

  • Open from January 15 - 31, 2006
  • Fees (if accepted from the waitlist): $150 for first player, $120 for each additional player
    • includes $25 late registration fee for each player

Opt-Out Fee

  • DSLL is run by volunteers
  • A parent or guardian for each player is expected to indicate their volunteer preference during the online registration process, and they are required to fulfill that commitment during the season
  • A parent or guardian may choose to pay an additional $100 to opt-out of the volunteer requirement

Manager Applicants and Selection

  • Manager applicants can apply to manage a team during the online registration process
  • Manager selection and notification expected to be completed by January 15, 2006

Tryout Schedule (click here for more information about tryouts)

  • Primary session: Sat, 1/21 from 9am-5pm
  • Primary session: Sat, 1/28 from 9am-5pm
  • Make-up session: Tue, 1/31 from 6-8pm
  • Make-up session: Thu, 2/2 from 6-8pm

Draft Schedule

  • There will be no draft for the 2006 Spring DSLL season. All players in the 2006 Spring DSLL season will be assigned to Divisions and teams by league DLL/DSLL Player Agents.

Teams Assignments and Player Notifications

  • Date that player notifications will begin is TBD.

Practices

  • Expected to begin the week of TBD

Games

  • Regular seasons starts: week of Mon, April 17
  • Regular season ends: Sat, June 17
  • Playoff Schedule (for A & AA): TBD
