Players who registered on or before August 15 will be placed on a team. Player notifications will begin on or before Fri, August 22. No additional teammate/coach requests are possible at this time.
Please read the information below before registering to play in DLL. The link to the online registration system for the 2008 Fall season appears at the bottom of this web page.
Summer Fun Ball Update
Due to declining enrollment and difficulties in finding knowledgeable volunteers to consistently attend the SFB sessions during recent SFB sessions, DLL will not be conducting a SFB session this summer. Those who are interested in a structured baseball activity this summer are encouraged to explore camps and instruction from Sam Plank's Diamond Elite Center, Diamond Sports Training, or Broad Run's Summer Baseball Camp.
DLL's 2008 Fall Registration Timeline and Fees
Important Notes:
- All registration for the 2008 Fall DLL season will take place via the DLL online player registration system.
- DLL's 2008 Fall season is open to players with a
League Age of 5 to 12 inclusive who reside within DLL's boundaries. To determine a player's League
Age, calculate their age on April 30, 2009. Before registering, be sure your player meets the age eligibility requirements AND meets the DLL boundary/residency requirements.
- The DLL Fall season is much more instructional in nature than the DLL Spring season. Standings are not kept, and there is no playoff season. ALL players are assigned to Divisions and teams by the DLL player agents based on a player's playing age as of April 30, 2009 and their playing experience.
- The Division of play in the Fall season is NO INDICATOR of the Division where a player will play the following Spring.

- When joining the waitlist, you will be asked to complete the DLL registration form, and to enter credit card information, however you will not be charged immediately. If we are able to accommodate your registration request from the waitlist, we will first contact you to confirm your continued interest, then we will charge your credit card for your registration(s).

If accepted from the waitlist, fees will be the same as Late Registration.
Refund Policy
In an effort to help stabilize team rosters and control disruptions caused by player drops, and to account for payment processing fees, DLL has established the following refund policy for the 2008 Fall season. This policy applies regardless of the reason for the player drop:

-
DLL is run by volunteers
-
A parent or guardian for each player is expected to indicate their volunteer preference during the online registration process, and they are required to fulfill that commitment during the season
-
A parent or guardian may choose to pay an additional $100 (per family) to opt-out of the volunteer requirement
Manager and Umpire Applicants
Teams Assignments and Player Notifications
