2005-2006 DLL Board of Directors Election

Sat, Sep 24: Online voting for the 2005-2006 DLL Board of Directors is now underway - An email containing a link to the DLL voting web page has been sent to everyone who participated in the league during the 2005 season (Spring and/or Fall). Voters must access the voting web page using the link sent in the email. All 2005 DLL participants are eligible to vote. Paper ballots will only be available at the Annual Meeting. Each parent/guardian may vote only once for one or more candidates.

Wed, Sep 21: URGENT Call for DLL Board of Director Nominations - We are still seeking additional nominations for the 2005-2006 DLL Board of Directors.  To be nominated to the Dulles Little League Board, all nominees must meet the following criteria:

1. The nominated individual must be a member in good standing.  A member in good standing is any parent, guardian, or participant/volunteer in the league during the 2005 season (Spring and/or Fall).
2. During the individual's term on the Dulles Little League Board of Directors, the individual shall not at the same time hold office or be a member of the board of any other youth baseball/softball league, or function as an official or representative (coach, assistant coach, or manager) of such a program, as per the National Little League Operating Manual.

Any individual meeting the criteria may be nominated by himself/herself, or by another member in good standing.   All nominations will be collected online this year.

Timeline for Election of the 2005-2006 DLL Board of Directors

Sep 16 - 21: Preferred timeframe for submitting Board nominations.   (All nominations received by noon on Sep 28th will be posted to the website.)

Sep 24 - 29: Open voting for Board candidates. 

Sep 29: Complete voting and elect the new Board of Directors at DLL's Annual Meeting.

Sep 30: Publish election results.
