Call for Umpires and Umpire Registration

DLL is always looking for additional umpires for the Fall season.  If you have any experience or are willing to learn, and can commit to a few games this season, please contact Jack Ryan (DLL Umpire-in-Chief).  Remember, after umpiring five games, parents are eligible for a reimbursement of their child's DLL registration fee.  This is also a great opportunity for older siblings who have graduated from Little League to earn a little extra money.

Click here for instructions on how to complete the free DLL Umpire Application. You must be registered as an Umpire for the 2008 Fall season to be assigned to games.

Register Now for DLL's 2008 Fall Umpire Training Class - Sat, Aug 30 from 10am - 12pm

Please mark your calendars for DLL's 2008 Fall Umpire Training Class. You can register by sending an email to the DLL Umpire-in-Chief. There is no charge to attend the clinic.

Sat, Aug 30 from 10am - 12pm at the Woods Recreation Center, 44020 Louisa Drive, Ashburn, VA

This program will cover a wide variety of issues including rules, technique and positioning. At this clinic, you will receive an umpire training manual and a 2008 Little League rule book. The DLL UIC will also be available to answer any questions about the upcoming season, scheduling, uniforms, equipment, rules, etc.

Umpire Compensation and Benefits for the 2008 Fall Season

  • Per game pay of $30 for certified umpires and $20 for non-certified umpires. Contact DLL UIC for details.
  • 2008 rule book, free training clinics, all equipment provided.
  • Official Little League shirts and caps provided by Dulles Little League.
